Our lead guitarist left on an extended vacation with his girlfriend, just after we had booked five gigs. We needed a lead guitarist fast, but didn’t know anyone who was proficient enough to play lead guitar. A buddy of mine wanted the gig and suggested he take free lead guitar lessons. I didn’t think that he would learn enough from online guitar lessons, but I figured if he wanted to try, we had noting to lose. He learned so fast, we were amazed. Now, he does a great job as our lead guitarist. Nobody would ever know that he learned how to play guitar online.
