Be Held Captive With Art Deco Clocks
Home February 18th. 2010, 6:48pmDuring the 1920s and ’30s, Art Deco Clocks were all the rage when it came time to how people kept time. In homage to the trend, the machine-like chrome and enamel time keepers of the day are simply striking! This is why I collect them. I know there are other types of clocks that may be more valuable or aesthetically pleasing, but there is a transcendent quality about this period of clocks that continues to pique my interest and stoke my flames of curiosity. I’m not sure if I’ll someday move on to other types of clocks. As for now, though, the swinging, flapping clocks of the Art Deco days are holding me captive!
