The pick, pack, and ship process, services, industry, or whatever name makes you feel comfortable is somewhat of a cut and dry service. Of course you have the people that can’t seem to get anything right who will naturally find a way to mess this simple process up, but then there is nothing that can be done for these kinds of people. There are three simple steps in the pick, pack and ship. The first is picking. Products are picked from wherever they’re being stored. The second is packaging. Picked items are carefully (or not so carefully) packed and prepped for shipping. Sometimes an itemized list of the packages contents and other shipping details are included. The third and final step is shipping. Items are shipped to the client, the client’s customer, or both. Shipment methods can involve the company’s own courier service, others such as DHL, FedEx, or USPS. And as simple as it began, the process has ended.
