Ben has been home for about a year. He had served in Afghanistan and was wounded in action. He has been having a hard time getting use to being home even after all this time. He has been trying to get the Charleston veterans disability benefits that he was suppose to get right after arriving home. It is taking a long time for all the paperwork to go through. He did contact an attorney and he has been a lot more hopeful than before. They have been working with him and they keep him updated on the progress they are making with the benefits.
