Most name brand watch makers offer mechanical versions.  TAG Heuer is among the famous watch brands to carry timepieces with both automatic and manual winding mechanical movements.  What are some of the considerations, when you own a mechanical watch?

• First, keep in mind that a mechanical watch is made up of complex components, which require more maintenance, than Quartz models.  They must be properly maintained, to perform accurately.

• If a mechanical watch begins of keep time erratically, you may want to consider taking it in for an overhaul.  The inner workings of the movement can be cleaned and restored.
