Moving to a new town can be a bit daunting at first, meeting new people, finding a flat, getting a job and all the rest that goes along with it. I was fortunate to pick up a job at port elizabeth car rental only a few days after arriving there, so that took a lot of pressure off. For the first couple of weeks I was staying at a hostel but it didn’t take me too long to find a flat to move in to. Sure enough, the friends followed pretty quickly as my new house mates were a very sociable bunch who always had lots of people around the house.
